Derby Car Testing:
Our cars are tested on a 32' Pinewood standard track. We use fast track electronic timers as depicted below to record actual results. Cars that are purchased, we post 10 trial test times, 5 on each lane with an average. Keep in mind, we purposely test our cars against competitor cars, just to prove the point, that our cars are faster. Our cars are also rolled for straightness to check out of alignment variations without the factor of gravity and/or rail bouncing, etc. These are adjusted until the car rolls straight and true. Test Results are printed and included in the shipment, as depicted below:
We also offer car time testing, if you already have a car, and want to know its time, we can test your car ten times, 5 on each lane and give you an avg. time. This service is $15.00. Shipping the car to us, is your responsibility, and we will ship your car back to you when complete by UPS or Fedex. You will be billed for actual shipping the car back to you. Note: We DO NOT USE USPS Plan ahead, the shipping, testing, and shipping the car back to you may take a total of a week. Please Download and Fill Out Testing Form and send the form with your car.
