Why don't the Ebay Builders publish their
times? They claim they are Track Tested, why not publish the Ft/Sec
or Lap Time????
Because, they at times will build a fast
car, but most average speed cars, and they need to sell them! If one is to
spend $200+ for a derby car, wouldn't you want to know exactly what you are
paying for? There are two main reasons on why one would purchase a
professionally built derby car, either not enough time to try it, or simply,
your child has been beaten, and you want a WINNER!

The
Warp Zone Series are Simply District Champion Cars.
(Note: Our Time Travel Series, are faster than previous
District Champion Cars) The Warp Zone Cars are so FAST, SO PERFECT,
they barely stay on the track. We are blessed from time to time, to
produce a few of these.
These cars have modified BSA wheels, they have been machined,
CNC'D, and very thin wall stock on the wheels, we have eliminated over 12 grams
of wheel weight, allowing for more Tungsten in the Kinetic Sweet Spot. We
use the 1/8" Tungsten Cubes and pack more weight in the rear of the car,
because of the size of the cubes. These are Panagraphed blocks, Planed
Smooth, Radius'd corners, (no Sharp edges), Straight Axles slots, Precision
Axles, loaded with Tungsten, fast off the starting
line to finish line.
We
have yet to test or see any car, ours or competitors that is faster than 2.430
seconds on a 32 foot standard track. 29' Pin To Finish
How do we know this?? We
actually provide tracks and events for local Derby Carss™
around West Michigan, out of 1000's of cars, designs, wheel base designs, etc,
have yet to see a car do a lap faster than 2.436 sec on a 32' Standard BSA
Approved Track, (other than our cars). Example: The Regional
Champion car for Michigan 2006, fastest lap 2.432 sec, Slowest lap 2.455, Avg.
2.446 sec 32' track 28' pin to finish. The supersonic cars finish
1.5-2.0" Inches in front of this car.

Remember, these cars are built for Scouts, although, to see
how these speeds stack up. Take a look at the WIRL Championship Race held
in December in Utah. The Champion - Fastest car in Pro Stock travels at 14
Feet/sec. The Warp Zone Cars would at 2.420 sec avg travel at 13.223
feet/sec or would have placed around 10-12th place at this race out of 17
Qualifying cars. This is a professional Adult League, and if you can
imagine how these cars would compare on at an average BSA Derby Race. See

White Stickers in Pictures peel right off, just car # identifier stickers.
Remember
to check the rules of your pack. Some packs will not allow
raised wheels, modified or turned wheels, some will not allow pre
drilled axle holes.
